The Florida State track & field teams will begin tuning up for the ACC Outdoor Championships in two weeks by spreading out across the country this weekend for big-meet competition.

Redshirt freshman Grete Sadeiko started and finished fast on the first day of heptathlon competition at the Texas Relays. With three events remaining she is ninth against a field of 24 competitors.

Marecia Pemberton won the FSU Relays 100-meter dash title with a nation-leading time, one of seven victories on the final day of the meet. Freshman Chadrick DaCosta won both the discus and shot put to lead the way.
