The FSU track & field teams will get one last chance to secure NCAA postseason berths at the Georgia Tech Invitational this weekend in Atlanta.

Senior Jakub Zivec's injury-marred season will be extended with an NCAA East Preliminary qualifying mark in the 1500 Saturday at the Virginia Challenge.

Katja Vangsnes broke her own school record in the hammer, while Anne Zagre and Dentarius Locke shined on the track Friday night for Florida State in the Seminole Twilight.

All-American James Harris will make his season debut in the 400-meter dash Friday, while Dentarius Locke will try an improve on his season-best 10.16 in the 100. They are among the Seminole stars competing in the one-day Twilight Invitational.

Pippa Woolven and Linden Hall regain their mojo, while Colleen Quigley also adds a season-best Sunday night at the Payton Jordan Invitational on the Stanford campus.

Paul Madzivire made the most of his sixth and final long jump attempt, winning the title with a career-best leap of 25-2.50 at the LaCoste Invitational. In all, five Noles recorded personal best marks at the meet.
